DIY St. Patty’s Day Tiered Stand

Top O’ the mornin’ to ya!  These mischievous little leprechauns are most certainly conjuring up some delightful shenanigans for St. Patty’s Day!  This adorable, three tiered Irish display will delight both the young and old, filled with lucky 4-leaf clovers,  shamrocks, rainbows and pots of gold.  If you would like to make one for yourself, you can follow my easy tutorial below!

Dollar Tree
  • Bobble Head Leprechauns (3)
  • Irish Blessings Rock (1)
  • Small Glitter Hat (1)
  • Bag Coins (1)
  • Package of 2 Round Floral Foams (1)

Directions:

First, cut a circle of moss to fit inside the largest and middle tray.  You can trace each unassembled platter onto the backside of the moss (it has a paper backing) before you assemble the tray to get a perfect fit, if you like. (I was lazy and just eye-balled it).

Next, I filled up the top tray with the four leaf clovers.  To do this, take the garland and pull the floral stems away from the main stem.  Sometimes I had to detach them by cutting the stem off of the wire garland with wire cutters.

This is what the stem looks like after you remove it from the garland.

Cut the stems to the desired length and then stick them inside the floral foam. You will want to fill in the front around the leprechaun enough to hide the foam.

To make them look fuller, I also added extra stems to the flower pots.  You can see the difference from the pot on the right, in the picture below, without any stems added, and the pot on the left that has stems already added.

When your pots look full enough, place two pots (for each level) in the back of the middle and bottom level (for a total of 4 pots) to fill in the empty spaces.

Last, I added the figurines, flags & coins by playing around with how they were placed.  Yay, we are done!

Happy St. Patty’s Day!
