DIY Googly Eye Puffer Fish

Ok so out of ALL of my ‘Under the Sea’ Party ideas, these little googly eyed puffer fish are definitely the fastest and EASIEST to make (and they turned out pretty cute if I do say so myself!).  They are so handy to have around as being great space fillers for my other larger sea party displays.

Supplies:

  • Googly eyes (no surprise there) from the Dollar Tree
  • Hot Glue Gun (low temp)
  • Rubber spikey balls (various sizes)-from the Dollar Tree and the 99 Cents Store

Alright, are you ready?  This can get pretty complicated, so pay attention!!!

First you gather your googly eyes…

Then warm up your hot glue gun and hot glue two eyes onto each rubber spikey ball.

BOOM!  Done!

Ya I know, that was pretty difficult 🙂

As you can see, you don’t even have to match the eyes…you can put them close together or far apart.  Heck, the little pink guy doesn’t even have matching-sized eyes…Kinda adds character, don’t ya think???

These guys are so cute you’ll find yourself wanting to make a whole school of little puffer fishies!!
